Challenge

Identify and eliminate points of failure in the Server and Storage Platform to guarantee the continuous Operation of the Institution's systems.

Single Points of Failure Detected

The existing Platform had vulnerabilities that could compromise Administrative Operations and vessel Management in the event of any Technology Incident.

Availability Requirements

The nature of the business required 7×24×365 availability for both onshore Systems and systems aboard the fleet's vessels.

Storage Requirements

A High-Capacity Storage system with Full Redundancy and High Data Transmission Speed was required to guarantee Information Integrity.

Continuity for Internal and External Users

It was necessary to guarantee efficient response times and High Reliability for all users who depend on the Institution's Systems in real time.

Obj. 1: Identify points of failure in the Server and Storage Platform.
Obj. 2: Achieve a Redundant Architecture that guarantees 7×24×365 availability of the Institution's Operating Systems.
